The wonderfully complicated chocolate

After years without advertising support, Hershey’s premium chocolate brand, Scharffen Berger, needed to get noticed. Because the chocolate is known for its unique flavor combinations, we created an experiential campaign that asked users to post selfies branded with their own “flavor profiles.” Photos uploaded to Instagram with our campaign hashtag were featured in real time on digital billboards. Six months later, Scharffen Berger retail sales were up 40%.
